About Haven Seat
We started Haven Seat for one reason: most of us sit far more than our bodies were built for.
Eight hours at a desk. Two more in the car. An evening on the couch. Over time that pressure stacks up on the tailbone, the sit bones and the lower back, and the usual fixes (a thicker foam pad, a donut ring, a new chair) either flatten within weeks or push the problem somewhere else.
Why gel, and why a grid
Our cushion is built around Offload Core™, a grid of hundreds of flexible gel columns. Each column buckles only where you press on it, so your weight is spread across the whole seat instead of concentrated on a few points. The open structure also lets air move, which is why it stays noticeably cooler than foam.
Around that core: a tailbone cutout to take pressure off the coccyx, a breathable, machine-washable cover and a non-slip base that stays put on office chairs, car seats, wheelchairs and benches.
How we test
Every design change goes through the same routine: real chairs, real commutes and long workdays. If it does not stay comfortable for a full day, it does not ship.
